Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Conduct regular inspections in line with resort SOPs and service standards
Team Leadership & Development
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in supervising, training, and guiding the housekeeping team
• Assist in maintaining consistent performance and team engagement
Guest Experience
• Handle guest requests, VIP setups, and special requirements with attention to detail
• Coordinate closely with Front Office and other departments
Inventory & Asset Management
• Monitor linen, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies to ensure quality and par stock levels
• Support cost control through efficient use of resources
Maintenance & Coordination
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure timely maintenance and upkeep of all areas
• Follow up on maintenance issues and support preventive maintenance programs
